Sudoku Tetris

This project combines the strategic thinking of Sudoku with the fast-paced mechanics of Tetris to create a fresh puzzle game experience. My goal was to design a clean, mobile-friendly interface that supports both clarity and focus during gameplay.

The UI features a soft color palette and minimalist layout to reduce cognitive load and keep players immersed. I carefully balanced visual hierarchy with usability, ensuring that the controls are intuitive and the grid is easy to scan under time pressure. The typography is simple and readable, while animations help reinforce player feedback without overwhelming the screen.

I also included a progress tracker and game modes to encourage replayability. Every element was designed in Figma, with a focus on creating a polished, modern experience that feels familiar but fresh. This project allowed me to explore hybrid mechanics and experiment with interaction design in a playful, user-focused way.

Visual Design and Interaction

I started by combining two familiar puzzle games, Sudoku and Tetris, to create a new experience that feels both logical and dynamic. I mapped out how the mechanics could work together in a way that makes sense and stays fun.

Using Figma, I sketched wireframes to explore different ways of organizing the game grid, controls, and feedback indicators. The goal was to keep the interface clean and easy to follow so players could think quickly without distractions.

I used soft colors, simple typography, and smooth animations to support usability and create a calm feel. I also added a progress tracker and subtle transitions to guide the user and make the experience more enjoyable over time.
